Job Title: CCR Engineer (Beneficiation)

Position Summary

• The CCR (Central Control Room) Engineer is responsible for monitoring and controlling the operations of the beneficiation plant from the control room, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient plant performance in compliance with standard operating procedures and production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the beneficiation plant (crushing, grinding, screening, and concentration circuits) through DCS/SCADA or other control systems.
• Coordinate with field operators to ensure consistent process parameters and equipment functionality.
• Ensure plant operations adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production logs, shift reports, and downtime records.
• Respond quickly to alarms, troubleshoot plant issues, and escalate as needed.
• Support maintenance teams during shutdowns or emergencies by providing technical insight and control room coordination.
• Optimize plant operations to achieve maximum throughput and recovery rates.
• Participate in regular safety drills, audits, and training as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3 – 5 years hands-on experience in a beneficiation plant, preferably in a mining or mineral processing environment.
• Proficiency in control room operations and familiarity with DCS/SCADA systems.
• Strong understanding of plant process flow, equipment, and troubleshooting.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a shift-based schedule, including nights and weekends.

Preferred:

• Experience in startup and commissioning of beneficiation plants.
• Knowledge of HSE practices in a mining or heavy industrial setting.
