Job Title: Events Manager

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly agile, energetic, and experienced Events Manager to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate must be hands-on, proactive, and a natural multitasker who thrives in fast-paced environments.
• This role requires a passion for planning, the ability to lead on-ground execution, and a commitment to client satisfaction – no matter the time or location.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end events (corporate and social) from concept to execution.
• Liaise with clients to understand requirements, provide creative proposals, and ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
• Supervise event set-ups, logistics, vendors, and support staff on-site to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and event documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, entertainers, decorators, and other external stakeholders.
• Lead brainstorming sessions with team members to develop innovative ideas.
• Provide real-time problem-solving during events, ensuring swift and effective decisions.
• Travel interstate and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
• Oversee post-event evaluations and reporting.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 4 – 5 years proven experience in event planning and management.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Highly organized with exceptional time management and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and event management software/tools.
• Physically and mentally prepared to handle the rigors of on-site event management.
• Must be willing to travel frequently and work irregular hours.
• A background in hospitality, marketing, or public relations is an added advantage.

Salary
N350,000 – N500,000 monthly.
