Job Title: Social Media Manager
Job Description
- We are looking for a creative, organized, and digitally-savvy Social Media Handler to lead our brand presence across platforms.
- You’ll manage, grow, and engage StayAssist’s community by telling authentic stories, promoting listings, highlighting local gems, and driving audience trust and loyalty.
- You’ll be the brand’s storyteller, content architect, and engagement engine.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and maintain a monthly social media calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, and local events.
- Create, curate, and post engaging content (posts, reels, carousels, stories) across platforms – Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
- Write compelling captions, microcopy, and CTAs that reflect StayAssist’s tone: modern, warm, guest-focused.
Community Engagement:
- Respond promptly to DMs, comments, and user queries.
- Monitor conversations, mentions, and hashtags to engage in relevant discussions and amplify user-generated content.
Visual Brand Consistency:
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure cohesive visual storytelling.
- Work with hosts and local partners to source authentic images, videos, and stories.
Growth & Analytics:
- Track and analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, clicks, conversions) using analytics tools.
- Run experiments and A/B tests to improve content effectiveness and audience engagement.
- Suggest growth strategies including influencer collaborations, giveaways, and paid boosts.
Local Culture Integration:
- Highlight city-specific local events, dining spots, and hidden gems that StayAssist travelers would love.
- Stay current with local trends, travel seasons, and cultural moments for timely content.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in brand strategy, content marketing, or social media management.
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills, witty, warm, and guest-focused.
- Fluency in tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, Buffer/Later/Hootsuite, and Google Analytics.
- A love for design, local culture, travel, and digital trends.
- Bonus: Experience in travel, lifestyle, or tech platforms.
