Job Title: Trade Marketing Associate, North

About the Role

• The Sun King Marketing team is looking for a Trade Marketing Associate who will drive disbursement of marketing merchandise. We are looking for someone who is passionate and excited about the opportunity to bring affordable, energy to homes.

Responsibilities
What you would be expected to do:

• Think, design, produce, and promptly distribute promotional materials tailored to the needs of the trade.
• Identify, plan and execute Sun King’s participation in trade Events and Exhibitions in the northern part of Nigeria.
• Ensure accountability and accuracy of marketing merchandise in the stores and northern warehousing, acting as custodians of these merchandises.
• Ensure marketing stock sheet and trackers are regularly updated.
• Conduct trade visits to gather insights on customer behavior, and route-to-market effectiveness.
• Assist with the northern retail outlet and collection centre branding.
• Work closely with the regional sales team to identify growth opportunities and ensure execution of marketing-led sales initiatives.

Requirements
You might be a strong candidate if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of trade marketing, field marketing, or sales experience, preferably in FMCG, telecoms, or solar/energy sector.
• Familiarity with the northern Nigerian market and ability to speak Hausa is a strong advantage.
• Good people management skills and the ability to manage field teams, agents, and third-party vendors.
• Comfortable with frequent travel across the region.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and project coordination skills.
• Must be adaptable, and solution-oriented.
