Job Description

• We are seeking dynamic and results-oriented Investment Officers/Wealth Advisors to join our team.
• You will be instrumental in attracting, managing, and growing the savings and investment portfolios of our members.
• This role requires a strong understanding of financial markets, excellent relationship management skills, and a passion for helping individuals and groups achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively engage with prospective and existing members to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment needs.
• Present and advise members on SavingsBox Multipurpose Cooperative’s diverse savings and investment products, ensuring suitability and transparency.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract new savings deposits and investment funds from individuals and organizations.
• Monitor market trends and economic conditions to provide informed advice and optimize investment strategies for pooled funds.
• Ensure accurate documentation and processing of all savings and investment transactions.
• Maintain strong, long-term relationships with members, providing ongoing support and regular updates on their portfolios.
• Collaborate with the Loan Officers and other departments to identify cross-selling opportunities for cooperative products.
• Adhere strictly to all regulatory guidelines and internal policies related to investments and member protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CIS, CFA Level I) are a strong advantage.
• 2 – 5 years of experience in wealth management, investment advisory, banking, or a similar client-facing financial role.
• Demonstrated understanding of various savings and investment instruments.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of integrity and commitment to ethical practices.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
