Job Title: Electrical Engineer II

Location: Kaduna

Role and Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, implement, or improve electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems.
• Perform a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
• Confer with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products suitable for companyoperations.
• Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
• Establish construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, operational requirements by directing or coordinating installation, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
• Write reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and installations.
• Prepare specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials. Supervise or training technicians
• Estimate material, labour, or construction costs for budget preparation. Maintain electrical equipment.
• Work with a variety of technicians.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• A Degree in Electrical Engineering, or any relevant field of study.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
• Proven experience in managing Electrical infrastructure and services.
• Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
• Proficient in design and calculation software.
