Job Title: MEAL Manager – CGPP

.Job Requirements
- University Degree preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Economics or a related Science field.
- Master’s Degree and equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of M&E development projects implemented by national/international NGOs/UN bodies/ Government.
- Thorough familiarity with the principles of, and field experience in current approaches to monitoring and evaluation for development and emergency response programs, using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Experience in the field of immunization in Nigeria and or Niger
- Proven ability to work in a team is required
- Knowledge of the local languages in the Northeast e.g., Kanuri and Hausa is an advantage.
- Understanding of internationally recognized best practices of M&E in development and/or emergencies, HIV/AIDS, U.S. government expectations and trends for monitoring and evaluation, including donor funded programs.
- Experience in facilitating M&E capacity building for diverse audiences, including those in local partner organizations.
- Familiarity with USAID M&E system, reporting processes and program indicators
- Flexibility to work in harsh field conditions in the communities is a major requirement
- Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports.
- Proven experience working with and through partner organizations including the public sector.
- Experience in management, budget and work plan development is an advantage
- Experience in conducting surveys
- Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software
- Ability and willingness to travel to North-Eastern Nigeria more than 50% of the time
