Job Title: Safety and Security Consultant

Location: Abuja.

Job Requirements

•  Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent in Criminology or Criminal Justice, Political Science, Homeland Security, Security Administration or related field.
•  Typically requires 10 years of working with law enforcement/ in a Security function coupled with experience working with international donors, INGOs, or other humanitarian security experience directly related to Nigeria or West Africa
•  Demonstrated experience in implementing security strategies, policies, procedures and standards
•  Must be proficient in producing and presenting security reports and briefings using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint Presentations,
•  Demonstrated good understanding of the security context in Nigeria
•  Proven expertise in Nigerian security issues, including current threat environment, security policy, key actors, risk assessment, and best practices
•  Demonstrated ability to produce security deliverables and documentation, such as security risk assessments, site assessments, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and briefing documents
