PTDF Scholarship Shortlisted Candidates News
The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) wishes to announce the commencement of the selection interview for the 2022/2023 Overseas Scholarship Scheme (OSS) MSc and Ph.D. programme. The interview that will lead to the award of the scholarship is scheduled to hold from Monday 23rd May to Friday 10th June 2022.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email with the time and venue for the interview.
The selection process is a continuation of the scholarship process which began on December 20, 2021, with a public announcement inviting interested candidates from across the country to apply for the PTDF Overseas Scholarship in Universities in the United Kingdom (UK), Germany, France, and Malaysia (GFM) under its Strategic Partnership Initiative.
Please note that only those who meet the requirements as advertised for application are shortlisted and invited for the oral interview.
Selection for the award will be based strictly on performance in the interview.

- Visit the PTDF scholarship Portal at https://scholarship.ptdf.gov.ng/
- Enter your Application ID in the required column.
- Finally, click on the “CLICK CHECK APPLICATION STATUS” button to access your shortlisted status and screening procedure.
Candidates successfully shortlisted for PTDF Scholarship are advised to come along with the following items:
- Writing Materials
- National Identity Number (i.e ‘NIN’)
- Original and photocopies of your credentials, including a demand of transcript from your school
- Birth Certificate/ Age Declaration/Affidavit
- Local government identification certificate/certificate of origin
- Eight Recent Passports
- Filled guarantor’s form
ALTERNATIVELY, candidates can also access their shortlisted names on the PTDF list of successful candidates 2022 pdf status check portal by following the procedures outlined below:
- Visit the PTDF portal at https://ptdf.gov.ng
- Login to your application details with your username and password.
- Scroll down, then locate and click the ‘DOWNLOAD PDF LIST‘ tab.
- Select your state and enter your app no in the required column.
- Finally, click on ‘Check Selected Name‘ to access your shortlisted status.
