Job Title: Accountant

About the Role

• We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Accountant to serve as the second-in-command for operational finance at a reputable private hospital.
• You will report directly to the Chief Medical Director (CMD) and be instrumental in managing the hospital’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive financial reports, providing strategic recommendations to management.
• Develop, review, and enhance financial tools, systems, and processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Supervise cashiers, manage vendor relations, and oversee daily financial operations.

Qualifications

• HND / BSc Degree in Accounting.
• ACA or ACCA certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years post-graduation experience in a practical accounting role.
• Proven supervisory experience is essential.
• Experience in the healthcare sector is a significant advantage.

Skills & Attributes:

• Ability to hit the ground running and take charge of the finance function.
• Excellent communication (verbal & written), negotiation, and emotional intelligence skills.
• Smart, practical, proactive, and professional demeanor.
• Proficiency in local languages (e.g., Hausa) is a plus.

Salary
N350,000 monthly.
