Job Title: Chef
Job Description
- We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to lead our kitchen team and deliver high-quality, delicious meals that meet our standards of taste, presentation, and creativity.
- The ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, experience in managing kitchen operations, and a deep commitment to hygiene and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare a diverse menu that meets customer preferences and seasonal trends
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen staff and food preparation activities
- Ensure food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to uphold kitchen standards and procedures
- Implement and enforce food safety and hygiene standards
- Manage kitchen costs and reduce waste through efficient processes
- Collaborate with restaurant management on new menu ideas and special events
- Ensure timely delivery of meals during service hours
Requirements
- Minimum 4–7years’ experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, food costing, and hygiene regulations
- Creative approach to menu development and food presentation
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
