We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Sangotedo, Lagos

Job Description

  • The Accounts Officer will process all financial transactions, reconcile accounts and prepare data/reports.
  • This post involves inward/outward invoicing, including payment progression.
  • Significant relevant experience of general financial duties is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing different accounts and reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts.
  • Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying.
  • Enter data, maintain records, and create reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting for financial statements.
  • Developing systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts.
  • Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting for information
  • Gather and monitor financial data like sales revenues and liabilities.
  • Prepare weekly budgets for the company and also collate/monitor departmental budgets.
  • Ensure that all financial records are updated containing both stock and inventory and reconcile and balance all financial records.
  • Liaise with the sales department to reconcile stock and products supplied.
  • Track supplied products, take stock count, and advice on depleting and marketable stock.
  • Create unit costs for all products, already existing or new products.
  • Create well-detailed financial reports for management and audit purposes and monitor and report on any account discrepancies.
  • Disburse payments approved by management for any benefits of all staff
  • Conduct a detailed risk analysis to assess potential investment opportunities.
  • Processing data through the sales and purchase ledgers from the point of receipt of the invoice to the completion of the transaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Accounting
  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
  • Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
  • Ethical behaviour.
  • Attention to detail.

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 Monthly.
