  • Our first product is the digital bank that includes a bank account, credit/debit card experience, payments/billings and, most importantly, a user experience that enhances deeper connections with the people and brands you have financial transactions with.
  • As our product matures, we see it offering bespoke embedded banking services to varied communities and non-profit organisations, thereby providing them with more opportunities to maximise their impacts.
  • Today, our priority is to launch a digital bank.
  • We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Specialist to manage our online and offline communication with clients and increase brand awareness.
  • The Marketing Communications Specialist will strategically plan, coordinate and manage all marketing and communications related activities for Wesley.
  • Shall be responsible for the promotion and sustenance of customer satisfactions, loyalty and retention through market research and surveys, the candidate will ensure positive market feedback and brand perception, responding to customers’ queries, comments on social media and networking during marketing events. Ultimately, you will act as our brand’s voice to impress our customers and attract new clients.

Responsibilities
Job Competencies and Capabilities:

Strategic Marketing:

  • Manage and own the delivery of our online marketing strategy.
  • Work on key marketing initiatives that will drive demand/user growth and brand equity for Wesley in the market.
  • Coordinate pre-launch strategy to launch an early access programme and grow the product waitlist.
  • Define the marketing mix per segment and provide data & insight to support business development strategy.
  • Manage our online presence, create content, build and engage our audience online and help drive business key metrics.
  • Development of the annual marketing plan.
  • Leverage digital tools to build a reputable image, gain favourable market share, customer trust & loyalty for the brand.
  • Ensure that the brand is visible, positive and compliant on all material/support.
  • Creating and managing all marketing materials and collateral in line with brand direction.

Advertising & Commercial Communication

  • Manage media planning and media buying.
  • Monitor & evaluate the impact of each media campaign, tracking ROI for measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Corporate Communication:

  • Ensure all stakeholders (external publics) are provided up-to-date information on product, services and industry related updates.
  • Ensure website has up-to-date information on brand, product & services o Search engine optimisation.
  • Implementing online marketing activities including social media, SEO/SEM, demand generation, lead generation, etc.
  • Must be a growth-focused digital marketing candidate with at least 3 years experience (preferably in fintech).

Social Media:
Community Building:

  • Organize and participate in social events that support each product/brand objective and will create an avenue for target market to connect emotionally with the Wesley brand.
  • Organize & partner events that support our objectives for clients, products, services/brand all through the year.
  • Organize internal events to sustain customer loyalty and brand love.
  • Develop and participate in corporate social initiatives to provide support and development for host communities within the environment.

Requirements
Qualification / Education

  • University Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Public Relations and other relevant Professional qualifications.
  • Proven work experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist or similar role.
  • 5+ years in professional B2B or B2C marketing and marketing communications experience with at least 3years in a team lead position.
  • Previous experience and good industry knowledge in financial services, FMCG or telecoms sector.
  • Experience in advertising agencies, media planning, digital and social media agencies is a plus.
  • Must be a growth-focused digital marketing candidate with at least 3 years experience (preferably in fintech).
  • Demonstrate strong innovative and creative skills to understand consumers, how they are influenced, how to trigger behaviours change, how to drive purchase and how to drive engagement through actionable communications content and programs.
  • Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics/analytical reporting (Google Analytics) and social media/blogging platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google+, etc.).
  • Strong skills in marketing communications, public relations, and social media industry knowledge and interest, as well as proven skills and initiative to stay current with the latest trends.
  • Possess ability and skills to conduct market and customer surveys and relevant studies necessary for making management decisions.
  • Possess excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities to solve problems and provide solutions.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English and exceptional presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal as well as written communication skills.
  • A keen eye for details
