Job Title: Sales & Business Development Manager
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales & Business Development Manager who will be responsible for leading sales initiatives, developing and executing business strategies, and building relationships with key partners.
- This role requires a skilled leader who can drive revenue, explore new market opportunities, and increase brand presence across various channels, including e-commerce, retail, and B2B markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a sales and customer service team effectively.
- Sales Expertise: Extensive experience in developing and executing sales strategies that have successfully met or exceeded company targets and objectives, drive revenue growth, and expand market reach.
- Lead Sales and Customer Service Teams: Oversee and guide both the sales and customer service teams, ensuring alignment with company goals. Provide coaching, support, and performance feedback to enhance team effectiveness and customer satisfaction. Ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues and proper KPI tracking. Make our customers exceedingly happy.
- Team Development: Experience in training, and mentoring sales and customer service teams, including setting performance standards and monitoring outcomes. Lead and manage the sales team, providing coaching and support to achieve individual and team goals.
- Performance KPIs’ & Analysis: Competence in analyzing team performance metrics and KPIs to drive sales improvement and optimize customer service delivery. Analyze sales and customer service metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage Sales Budget and Forecasting: Develop and manage the sales budget, forecast revenue targets, and report on financial performance, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, data analysis tools, and modern technology used to enhance sales productivity and customer engagement.
- Client Relationship Management: Expertise in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders to support sales growth and business development.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities in the health and wellness space, including partnerships with retailers, distributors, and healthcare professionals
- Strategic Planning: Proven capability in strategic planning and implementation to align sales and customer service operations with broader company goals.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with operations, marketing, product, and customer service teams to align on sales objectives, ensure product availability, support promotional activities, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Experience & Education
- Minimum 4+ years of progressive experience in sales and customer service management
- Must possess an advanced post-BSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A master’s degree (eg. MBA or MA/MSc) is a plus.
- Must have a proven track record of success in managing a demanding workload and meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in CRM and Sales software, Google Workspace & Suite.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and the ability to take charge, set objectives, and drive results.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in sales and customer service management and familiarity with the latest trends, and technologies.
- Ability to develop and track relevant KPIs in sales and customer service.
- Must have excellent Internet connection, working laptop, and ability to adjust work hours to Central Standard Time (Between 9 am – 5 pm CST / 4 pm -12 am WAT).

Compensation
N450,000 – N520,000 Gross.
