Job Title: Training Lead

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • On behalf of our Client a Leading Engineering Consultancy we are seeking Training Leads to join an excellent team.
  • As the Training manager, you will be responsible for overseeing training design and delivery, developing and implementing effective performance management policies, and training new technical staff.
  • The core objective is to train, develop and re-train Nigerian engineers belonging to all carders of the engineering family with respect to all aspects of engineering skill and exploits expected of Nigerian engineers in the course of executing their jobs as well as keep then at the leading edge of the industry.

Job Description

  • Develop a need assessment process and create an instructional design process with appropriate delivery methods and post-training evaluations.
  • Responsible for the development, communication and implementation of process/programmes that are consistent with organized objectives and with relevant regulations.
  • Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices and processes to improve the efficiency of training services offered.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations relevant to training and disseminate any new requirements appropriately to colleagues.
  • Develop training schedules and administer training programmes in all the centre.
  • Coordinate efforts to ensure the full utilization of all site training facilities, processes, resources and equipments.

Qualifications

  • First Degree in Applied Science or an Engineering field – Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Petroleum Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience with experience in an Engineering Consultancy or Technical Training facility desired.
  • Experience in quality management system.
  • Managerial experience and significant knowledge in training service company. Excellent planning and organizing skills.
