ICP Connect study programs are internationally accredited study programs. Scholarships are granted to candidates from 29 qualified countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to partake in one or more of the 15 English-taught master’s programs offered at Flemish universities. VLIR-UOS offers 10 new first-year scholarships annually for each ICP program.

Which costs are covered by the scholarships?
VLIR-UOS scholarships cover tuition fees, travel, insurance, and living expenses (board and lodging). We only offer scholarships for the full duration of the Master’s programme (12/24 months). It is not possible to apply for a partial scholarship or an extension.
Scholarship costs may change in line with government funding decisions.

How can I apply for VLIR-UOS Masters Scholarships
Here are the five steps for applying for a scholarship:
- Verify your eligibility based on the provided criteria.
- Explore the available Master’s programs (15).
- Gain comprehensive information about the Master’s programs by visiting their websites.
- If you find a particular program of interest, visit the website of the hosting university and adhere to the application guidelines provided.
- When applying for admission to the program, also apply for the scholarship through the university website. Clearly indicate your intention to apply for a scholarship. Please note that you should not apply for more than one Master’s program per year.

The application deadlines are program-specific, typically falling around 1 February, 28 February, or 1 March 2024. It is crucial to visit both the official website and the specific Master’s Programme websites you have selected for comprehensive details on how to apply for this scholarship.
